Uh oh, I messed up…
My mom is going to kill me when she watches this video.
I’m wearing no shirt and you can see my tattoos.
Haha, just joking. My mom loves my tats!
My dad on the other hand…well, that’s a different story.
But it’s all good because I’m here to help you improve and if that means exposing my half naked body to the world then so be it.
I honestly was a little worried about releasing something online for the WHOLE world to see with my shirt off, but then I realized it’s not a big deal because haters gonna hate hate hate hate hate hate no matter what.
Ok, sorry no more joking around lets get right into this weeks video where I show you a vertical leap exercise you should do in the pool.
I don’t want to confuse anyone, because there are much much better things you can do to increase your vertical leap than this, but I will be slowly releasing new vertical leap exercises that are all to be done in the pool and once they are all live you will have yourself a complete workout that you can do.
And once you have the complete workout you will have something you can add to your weekly training schedule to directly improve your on court athleticism.
Lets get into the video now and after it I’ll make sure to break it all down and give you some more details.
So just like I said in the video you are going to be doing:
3 Sets Of 8 reps
It is important that you really swing your arms up because you will notice that this is where you feel the most resistance.
If you can improve the rate at which you do that then you will also help you jump higher in the games.
The reason that vertical leap exercises that you do in the pool are great for basketball players is that most players deal with knee injuries at some point in their career and by training in the pool their is not much impact on the knees and you can still strengthen your legs.
The pool is most commonly used in rehabbing injuries due to the fact that it adds resistance while removing impact.
