Podcast 12: What It Takes To Be Great

what it takes to be great

So many players want a quick fix.

In basketball it doesn’t exist.

When a player asks me what they should do to become a better player they often don’t like the answer I have for them.

Wake up at 5:30 every morning, go to sleep early, eat right, and schedule your life around your basketball improvement.

I’m telling you…

Basketball is a fun sport and if you want to play it and have fun that’s great.

But if you want to compete at a high level, have little kids look up to, and test your true grit then it takes a lot of time, energy and sacrifice.

That’s some of the stuff we are going to talk about in today’s podcast.

      Hi,

Thanks for following the podcast. I missed last week simple and plain. My parents were in Europe visiting me and I put that as top priority since I only had a week with them. This weeks is up shortly though.
